All Steps Home Care provides in-home care for Palm Beach County seniors with as little as 4 hours and as much as 24 hours a day seven days a week. Other home care providers often have restrictions in the total hours and availability they offer to their customers.

It all begins with our detailed application and face to face interview process, less than 4% of all caregivers we interview will meet the high quality standards necessary to become an All Steps Home Care caregiver. The final question that are interviewers always ask themselves before hiring a caregiver is; “Would I want this person with my Mom or Dad”?

Once a caregiver is chosen by us and prior to their hiring, they are fingerprinted in order to undergo a federal criminal background check. Additionally, a Department of Motor Vehicle driving record report is obtained as well as a Social Security verification. We also require a minimum of 3 professional references.

We then categorize each caregiver based on their years of experience and training with specific illnesses or injuries (such as working with stroke patients, Alzheimer and Dementia patients, Hospice patients etc.) focusing in on their specialty and then assigning them accordingly. We will never let one of our caregivers go to school on your loved one.

Unlike a lot of home care agencies all of our caregivers are hired as “Direct W-2 Employees” not independent contractors and as such are covered under our liability, worker’s compensation, malpractice and auto insurance. This is an extremely important issue to consider before hiring any home care company as you do not want to be held responsible for any unforeseen circumstance.

All Steps Caregivers must either be certified (if they are HHA) or licensed (if they are CNA). We maintain current copies of their Certifications (Licenses) in their employee file.

All Steps maintains an insurance policy that covers ALL employees for Liability, Malpractice, Theft, and Non-owned Auto. Additionally, as per state regulations we maintain a Worker’s Compensation Policy for all employees. Proof of insurance is available upon request.

All of our new hires undergo an extensive orientation and safety training process to familiarize them with what is expected of them and also what they can and cannot do as caregiver employees of All Steps Home Care.

Once we have selected the best caregiver to meet your loved ones needs they are brought to the patient’s home for a personal introduction by one of our senior staff members prior to beginning work. This makes it easier on the patient as it gives them a chance to get to know their caregiver and it allows us to make certain that it is the proper fit.

All Steps Home Care provides introductions by our management team. Introducing new caregivers so that they have a complete understanding of what their duties are. Personal introductions also ensures that our Clients are comfortable with whom we have brought to provide the care. Other home care providers-Often no Introduction is done, and an employee is just sent out to the home.
