About All Steps Home Care
All Steps Home Care provides in-home care for Palm Beach County seniors with as little as 4 hours and as much as 24 hours a day seven days a week. Other home care providers often have restrictions in the total hours and availability they offer to their customers.
Located in Jupiter, FL, All Steps Home Care provides only the Highest Quality Caregivers.
Home Health Care is a service business; the quality of care provided can only be as good as those who deliver that care.
This is one of many areas that set All Steps Home Care apart from other Elder Care agencies.
It all begins with our detailed application and face to face interview process, less than 4% of all caregivers we interview will meet the high quality standards necessary to become an All Steps Home Care caregiver. The final question that are interviewers always ask themselves before hiring a caregiver is; “Would I want this person with my Mom or Dad”?
Once a caregiver is chosen by us and prior to their hiring, they are fingerprinted in order to undergo a federal criminal background check. Additionally, a Department of Motor Vehicle driving record report is obtained as well as a Social Security verification. We also require a minimum of 3 professional references.
We then categorize each caregiver based on their years of experience and training with specific illnesses or injuries (such as working with stroke patients, Alzheimer and Dementia patients, Hospice patients etc.) focusing in on their specialty and then assigning them accordingly. We will never let one of our caregivers go to school on your loved one.
Unlike a lot of home care agencies all of our caregivers are hired as “Direct W-2 Employees” not independent contractors and as such are covered under our liability, worker’s compensation, malpractice and auto insurance. This is an extremely important issue to consider before hiring any home care company as you do not want to be held responsible for any unforeseen circumstance.
All Steps Caregivers must either be certified (if they are HHA) or licensed (if they are CNA). We maintain current copies of their Certifications (Licenses) in their employee file.
All Steps maintains an insurance policy that covers ALL employees for Liability, Malpractice, Theft, and Non-owned Auto. Additionally, as per state regulations we maintain a Worker’s Compensation Policy for all employees. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
All of our new hires undergo an extensive orientation and safety training process to familiarize them with what is expected of them and also what they can and cannot do as caregiver employees of All Steps Home Care.
Once we have selected the best caregiver to meet your loved ones needs they are brought to the patient’s home for a personal introduction by one of our senior staff members prior to beginning work. This makes it easier on the patient as it gives them a chance to get to know their caregiver and it allows us to make certain that it is the proper fit.
All Steps Home Care provides introductions by our management team. Introducing new caregivers so that they have a complete understanding of what their duties are. Personal introductions also ensures that our Clients are comfortable with whom we have brought to provide the care. Other home care providers-Often no Introduction is done, and an employee is just sent out to the home.
All Steps Home Care – like calling family. When loved ones are sick we depend on family to help take care of them. Whether the care is for someone coming out of the hospital or for someone just needing companionship care, we can provide that care. Our staff is knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy.
All Steps Home Care is nationally accredited by The Community Health Accreditation Program, Inc. (CHAP).
This accreditation is proof of the high quality standards that our company establishes, sets and meets as a home care provider. It is considered to be the gold seal of approval for any home care agency to hold. All Steps Home Care is proud that our company has been granted this esteemed designation.

10 Reasons Why Home Care is Better
Many people prefer home care before any other option, and for good reason. Who wouldn’t want to stay home if they could? Home is a place of emotional and physical associations, memories and comfort. Although many people can be happy in assisted living facilities, retirement communities or nursing homes—and for many people these are better options—for some people leaving their home can be disruptive and depressing.
Home care is one of the fastest growing segments of the elder care market, and there are a variety of different home care options—offering everything from light housekeeping to skilled nursing. Because of the many options in home care that are becoming available, people in all kinds of situations can now make it their first choice. Here are ten reasons why home care is a popular choice:
FASTER RELEASE FROM THE HOSPITAL
With home care, patients can come home sooner from the hospital. Since the services of nurses, doctors, therapists and social workers can follow patients home, they don’t have to stay in the hospital as long.
SUBSTITUTE FOR HOSPITAL OR NURSING HOME
In some cases—depending on the severity of an illness or disability — home care can substitute for other forms of institutionalized care, including hospitals and nursing homes.
INVOLVEMENT WITH TREATMENT
Both the patient and family members can be more intimately involved with the patient’s treatment at home—helping to administer medications, working with the patient on physical therapy and coaching them on their recovery.
INDEPENDENCE
Who doesn’t want independence? This is, perhaps, the greatest plus for receiving care in one’s own home.
COMFORT
Being at home is simply more comfortable for most people than being in an unfamiliar place. They have their photographs, books, bed, bath, kitchen, telephone, television; everything is in its place, which in studies has proven to be an effective emotional healer.
FAMILY AND FRIENDS
Unlike the restricted visiting hours at hospitals and nursing homes, home provides a place where family and friends can be close to the person at all hours, whenever needed.
MORALE
Patients tend to have a greater sense of well-being and overall morale when they are in the comfortable surroundings of their own home.
FASTER RECOVERY
Research has shown that recovery can be faster at home than in the hospital, particularly if there is good quality, skilled home health care available to the patient.
COST
Depending on the hours needed, home care can be much more affordable than nursing homes or other institutions.
